I wanted to express my annoyance with the floating text box that appears whenever the mouse hovers over the center pencil (which it almost always does when I select a box with the mouse). It forces me to either write blindly or pick up the mouse again to make it disappear. I have also never had any need for the supplied information in said box.
It would actually be simple to solve this problem, by simply making the information box appear more to the left or to the bottom, instead of over the text box.

I find it annoying too, but have an AutoHotkey workaround that takes care of it. All I need to do is press a key to move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen, which makes the little box go away.
