When I open packages from a client, Studio 20xx assigns the project to the last client opened, rather than the client sending the package.
(A) Can I set the client before I open the package?
(B) How do I move the projects to the correct client after sending the return package?
The client reference is set during package creation.
During import you have no control over it.
But once its imported in you can change the customer field value
