ALT+Z (polish charakter Ż) does not replace the selected text.

ALT+Z shortcut (Polish character Ż): for a few weeks now, after selecting a word or several words in Trados Studio editor and pressing ALT+Z, the Polish letter Ż appears before the selected text or after the selected text, instead of replacing the selected text.

With other Polish letters in Trados Studio this problem does not occur.

In MS Word, there is no problem with ALT+Z, i.e. the Polish character Ż replaces the selected text.

Removing the keyboard shortcut in Trados "Undo" (Ctrl+Z) does not help.

I kindly ask for help.

To be precise: you do not mean the "left" ALT key, but the right one, the AltGr (or CTRL+ALT) key? If so, please check in your shortcuts, if there is something else assigned to CTRL

ALT+Z. I am not using the Polish programmers keyboard (QWERTY), but the Polish 214 on QWERTZ and have no such problems. TBH, I have never had problems with Polish letters with the Polish 214 layout, as the PL letters are hardcoded there.
