File dependency error

I often get the file dependency error when I try to create the translated file from Batch Tasks > Generate Target Translations, as often as one in two projects using Studio. Most of the time, it can be fixed by just browsing the source file, but it doesn't fix this time. Also, I wonder why this error occurs so often.

I've read gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge and did all explained there.

My Studio is 2019, and I use Windows Security for antivirus on Windows 10.

The maximum embedded file size has been set to 50 MB in Option > File Types > SDL XLIFF.

The current project's source docx file (Japanese) is only 17 KB. It's not a package but prepared from New Project.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

Then there are two possible reasons as far as I see:

    1. you are running some intrusive security or clean up software that regularly removes files that Studio needs to work correctly, or
    2. there is a bug in Studio 2019

If the problem is the latter please make sure you are running this version:

    Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - 15.2.8.3007
    MultiTerm 2019 - 15.0.6.56482

If you are, and if it's a bug, your only option will be to upgrade as we no longer support 2019.

If you are running software that is impacting then you will need to try and narrow down what that is and then configure it to exclude Studio processes.
