cannot Copy to source (CTL+Insert)

Question

Hello. I have a new HP Elitebook, working in SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - 15.2.8.3007. Copying source does not work from notebook (CTL+Insert) Insert is the F10 on this notebook..But interestingly, with attached Microsoft ergonomic keyboard it works normally. 
 I tried resetting BIOS to default, this got the insert (toggle) function working in MS Word when pressing F10 (insert). But it did not help in Trados. I've tried alternative means, i.e. CTL+ALT+I, etc. Nothing works. Thank you kindly for any help because as you can imagine, not being able to copy source can be a real problem.

 Your best bet is probably to either change the keyboard shortcut as it could be your Elitebook is sending confusing info under the hood, or use AutoHotkey to send the right control. So use this: 
 +F10::^Ins 
 I don't know if it will work, but essentially this should take Shift+F10 (if that's what you're using) and send Ctrl+Ins to Studio. Might help.
