Error message 'An error occurred whilst trying to determine the file version' in Trados Studio 2021

Question

Hello! 
 When I completed my translation I couldn't save the project, so I closed it, because I thought everything was in the TM. But now I get this error message 'An error occurred whilst trying to determine the file version', also the TM is corrupted and gets the error 'file is not a database'. 
 Is there a way to have my translation and memory back?

 Are the Studio project and TM saved on a folder sycronised by a tool such as OneDrive, Dropbox&hellip;? 
 If so, they shouldn&rsquo;t be, as explained here for example:

 First, I&rsquo;d try to move them somewhere outside the folder managed by OneDrive, Dropbox&hellip; (or close it temporarily). 
 Then try to open the project in Studio. Is it OK? 
 If it&rsquo;s not, try to repair the TM using the free app SDLTM Repair . Does it work? 
 If it doesn&rsquo;t, maybe you have the translations in the XLIFF. Try importing the XLIFF to a TM (to do so, in Translations Memory view, create a new TM, and right click to Import the XLIFF). Then create another project with the same source file. Is everything pre-translated? 
 If so, you know that shouln&rsquo;t ever create a project nor save your asssets (TMs, termbases, projects) in a folder manager by those or similar ones tools mentioned above. 
 If it doesn&rsquo;t work, I don&rsquo;t know what else you can do to not loose your work.
