The actual problem for which I need support is as follows: When I try to translate a MIF file under FrameMaker 22 as a single document, I get an error message when trying to save the file in the target format, stating that the file is being used by another process and cannot be accessed. It seems that Trados overwrites and erases the contents of the source MIF file, as it now has 0 KB contents and cannot be opened under FrameMaker.
I am sure that the file is actually not used by another process and is not open when traying to save it under the target format. So what is wrong? Is Trados unable to handle MIF files under FrameMaker 22? What can I do to get the translated file into the target format?
Best regards, Volker
