TRADOS STUDIO 2022

I was translating and reviewing a medical report, an automatic one made by a machine. It is full of times, dates and numbers. It should be simple. The format given was 13:45, for example, and I wanted to convert it into US format 1:45 PM. Should take seconds. I spent half a day on this because the system constantly reverted to 13:45 and later to 01:45 PM. There was just no way to remove that leading Zero. But the problem is bigger. I am the owner of this TRADOS so it should normally do what I say, right? But lo and behold, each time when I came to a line it got back to the old version because that is what is in the CM. I had to redo the report 20 times, 30 times, always correcting the numbers by hand, and even now that I have given it back I am still not sure if the right format is in it. Feel like I want to take an axe and destroy my equipment...
