This started a few weeks ago. I generate a project with Word files but when I try to open the files, they open In Word instead of opening a Trados window. My solution has been to resave the files as .doc files instead of .docx. Those open in Studio as they should but I would like to fix this problem. Thanks for any help. Sonia
Hi Paul. Very Sorry for the delay in my response. Your reply had gone in to my spam. Here are my answers:
1. Studio 2021
2. I doubleclick on the file that I want to open from the target language folder.
3. See screenshot attached. What is funny is that if you look closely, you can see that the Word icon for MKT-9156 (which is the one that opens in Word instead of Studio) is a little different than the Word icon for Your new favorite experience is coming (which is also a .docx file that I have no problem opening in Studio). I have noticed that every time I try to open a file .docx file that has an icon like the first file, that's when I run into this problem. Thanks for any help.
