Projects disappearance

I have Studio 2022

My project list disappeared today for no reason! Obviously something happened, but what?

When I try to load a project I don't see, It says Project already loaded!!

Oddely, The Beta Manager does show the Projects.

I tried reinstalling the latest update of the program but alas, to no avail.

Hope somenone can help with this.

  • Since I installed the latest update, every time Studio starts, it tells me that my plug-ins are not signed, that's new! It was OK before... do you know a way to solve that? Can I tell the program not to ask the question again?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to help me.

    Hi again Serge,

I'm glad the solution was that simple for you.

The 'unsigned' plug-ins message usually means that a plug-in is present that hasn't been 'signed off' by RWS for the version you're working on. It often happens in the case of a very new plug-in. As your plug-ins weren't new before you updated, this message may have been triggered because there's a more suitable version of the plug-in available.

Before I update Trados, I usually remove all my plug-ins. Then once my updated version, SR or CU is installed, I go to the Add-Ins tab > RWS AppStore in Studio and install all the plug-ins I want from there. Then I'm sure I have the correct versions and they will run more smoothly. I don't worry about restarting Trados until I've installed all the plug-ins that I want.

You can also check via the Add-Ins tab > RWS AppStore whether there are any updates available for your installed plug-ins. If you see a '0' after Installed plug-ins, that means they're all up to date:

Trados Studio RWS AppStore tab showing 'Installed plug-ins' with a blue '0' indicating all plug-ins are up to date. Two plug-ins listed: 'Comment View Plugin' and 'SDLXLIFF Compare'.

    I hope this helps,

    All the best,
