If I understand you correctly the easiest way would be to pre-translate the file from your TM and then save the target file.  That file will now be based on what was in your TM.  If the source was Word then it's simple, so can use Word features to create a document that shows you the differences.

If the source wasn't word then you better explain what it is and also how your colleagues will work with it?

Yes, the documents are in MS Word.

Do you mean first pre-translate and generate a target file and then pre-translate that resulting target file back? If yes, that will only work sometimes because segmentations will differ and my TMs contain a lot of one-to-many translations so I will end up with wrong sentences in my source file.

Is there any way to achieve this by using some project files generated by Trados?

ok - I reread your question and see why you thought I meant that.  I did not actually mean that and now see that my suggestion was useless for your needs.  I also don't really see how doing what you want would help someone who didn't have a CAT.  Trying to adopt that type of process manually seems more trouble than it's worth.  However, if you think it will then fair enough.

I can't think of a sensible way to achieve this.  The effort would far outweigh any benefits I think you're after.  

I think the easiest solution I could come up with would be to create a Project TM (note this has a special meaning in Studio it's not just a TM you create for your project) when creating your project and then export that Project TM to Excel (Glossary Converter).  That might be helpful... but probably not exactly what you're looking for.

Maybe someone else has some smart ideas... other than encourage them to use a CAT, or take a subscription for Trados Team and give them access to the files via the online editor.
