Alignment from youalign with a tmx format

Hi there!
Since I have no alignment tool in the cloud environment, I've used youalign and now I don't know how to transfer it in Studio. I've found though tmx format is okay for Trados Studio. Can you help me? I would like to begin the review. Thanks for this place!

  • Hello! I'm glad to hear that you've found a workaround for alignment in the cloud environment using youalign. Importing a TMX file into Trados Studio is a straightforward process. Here are the steps:

    Step 1: Open Trados Studio.

Step 2: Go to the "Translation Memories" view.

Step 3: Click on "New" to create a new Translation Memory (TM) or open an existing one.

Step 4: Once your TM is open, click on "Import".

Step 5: Browse to the location of your TMX file, select it, and click "Open".

Step 6: A new window will open showing the progress of the import. Once it's done, click "Finish".

Now, your aligned translations from youalign should be in your Trados Studio TM and ready for review. I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
