Importing XML file into SDL Trados TM failed

Question

Hello, I'm trying to import an XML file into a translation memory in SDL Trados 2022. The XML contains a translation memory exported from Lokalise. I've got the following error message. I found a similar case with solution here: Solution Article: Trados Studio - Error during TMX import: "Import failed. The file could not be processed." (sdl.com) . But for my case, the problem seems not to be "
". Does anybody have an idea, how to solve the problem? I'm using SDL Trados 2022 SR2 version 16.1.8.4404 Thanks a lot, Chengle

After correcting the header (typo in the forum I guess) this imports just fine for me:

However, I'm using Trados Studio 2022 - 17.1.8.17828.

I doubt it! I think you're using 2021, and an old one too. The current version is Trados Studio 2021 - 16.2.12.9338 so you should upgrade (it's free).

However, I think your problem may be this:

o-tmf="Lokalise"

Try removing that attribute and then try again. If that fail then change this:

to this:

I'm guessing a bit, but I think Trados Studio 2022 had a recent fix for the o-tmf so my money would be on that!

 Did you import an XML or a TMX? Maybe you just called the TMX and XML... since it is one ;-) 
 Can you share an extract from the TMX? The header and at least one complete TU. The problem is most likely going to be in the header.
