Trados crashes due to runaway increase in memory usage

Question

Bizarre error. I'm using Trados Studio 2015. Is a segment contains the word GDPR, memory usage starts increasing until Trados crashes. Any suggestions?

Do I understand you correctly.
In a segment, if you have GDPR as part of its content - Studio crashes and you suspect it's the TM.

What happens if you disable the TM?
If it still crashes then the culprit isn't the TM.

If disabling the TM, means you can work with segments that contain placeables like GDPR without Studio crashing then you may want to review the sustainability of your TM.
