Step 3: Locate the file named 'Translation Memory Repository.xml' and rename it to 'Translation Memory Repository_old.xml'.

Step 4: Open Trados Studio and check if the error persists.

If the error still occurs, you can try to repair the TM using third-party applications such as the SDLTM Repair add-in available on the RWS AppStore, or the SQLite Expert trial version app.

Remember, if your TM is stored on a network or shared drive, try copying it to your local drive (C:\ drive of your computer) and see if the error persists with this local copy as well.

I checked the development item and it seems to have been fixed in Studio 2021 SR2.

What version of Trados Studio are you using?

What happens if you create your project without this TM.
Once you have your project - then run the batch task "Pre Translate" separately from the actual creation of your project.

If the error does not occurs when you create your project without the TM - then it implies the error is TM related.
If the errors occurs when you are pre-translating then it reconfirms the issue is TM related.
If the error does not occur when separating the creation of project vs pre-translating - then that will imply there is something happening at project creation level.

Depending on the outcome, I could then give further suggestions that is relevant
