I have the same problem. After installing SR2, if I go to the built-in AppStore in Studio, all the plugins report "One moment" endlessly.

However, the plugins seem to work OK, so for now I'm not going to go through the hassle of deleting and reinstalling all my plugins.

Are the versions of the apps you work with available in the appstore itself?  You can seethe version number installed in the AppStore integration, and compare that to what's available in the appstore.

I ask because if you have an older one that works, but there is a newer in the appstore and your older one isn't in the appstore at all then this could cause the spinning because it can't find the icon for the logo.  That's one issue we recognise and will fix soon.

The OpenAI plugin has also been updated to support SR2 and also considerably enhanced.  Users who have access to Azure OpenAI will be able to to configure the plugin to work with this as well.

Even if it supposed to provide another set of answers, I suspect that it will hallucinate as all of the translation engines do. They cannot make it to work properly from one segment to the next, even in the same contaxt.

By the way, which setting is best to use with Studio in the list of many?

I don't really know how to help you.  The spinning occurs because the version you have installed is not available on the appstore... as far as I know.  You have not provided me with details of wat yo have installed so we can't validate that.  A screenshot would suffice as we can see the version numbers in the interface.

So if you have done as I asked and really removed all traces of the plugins in the locations I gave you then I really don't know how this can happen.

I recommend you read the documentation for the app:

You should also visit the OpenAI website too because some models will use more tokens than others and cost you more money.  It's up to you to learn about this tool that you want to use and what the different engines do.  In general as the version numbers increase so does the capability of the engine... but for the public API you are using increasing the capability will decrease the performance and increase the risk of "too many requests".  All something that is out of our control.

Also, it may be worth deleting your API key in your OpenAI account and generating a new one. If you continued to work with the key you had prior to adding your credit card details and creating a paid account we have see this getting stuck.

Worth a try anyway... and also test your key with the new Test feature in the plugin. Does that work?

I changed the API key a few days ago. I guess that the free ChatGPT 3.5 is not providing any value, even for an occasional request to double check a terminology in doubt, if those requests are not answered.
I am not ready to pay $20 a month for ChatGPT 4.

The new plugin loaded correctly, but it does not work it with "too many requests" popping up.

I guess you get what you pay for... I tested (I do have a paid account as the capabilities are immeasurably better) and ran through a few sentences testing a prompt to be a bit sarcastic, but with GPT4.  Works ok for me:

I think you may not really understand what this plug is for, or what I was doing... I did say it was a bit sarcastic.  It was just a way to show you the plugin was working and I used a prompt like this:

So that wasn't a hallucination at all, it was a deliberate action caused by my tongue in cheek prompt and intended to relate to Jesus.  Would this be better?

Then please recognise that this tool is there for you to design the appropriate prompt to suit the translations you are doing.  This plugin is not an MT provider.  It's more of a means to explore options and help with a translation.  Ultimately you are the professional translator and this is just a tool!

I know that it is just another tool and I was just prompted to tease about "resurrect" as it was funny to see it in there.
Every single one of the MT tools produce at times their own hilarious results. Thank you for your hard work in helping the community to perform better, close this solved "One moment" issue and move to the next one.
