How to uninstall the SR2 update for Studio 2022?

I cannot use Studio 2022 since I installed the SR2 update. If I open a multi file project, I can only open the first file but not the other ones. I want to uninstall that update but I don't know how to. I get 2 messages: "Value cannot be null' then "Termbase not initialized" then Studio stops working. I have to force shut it down. Please help, thanks

Error message in Trados Studio stating 'Value cannot be null. Parameter name: cookie' with an OK button.

  • Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Trados Studio 2022 after the SR2 update. Here's how you can uninstall the update:

Step 1: Go to your computer's Control Panel.

Step 2: Select "Programs and Features".

Step 3: Find Trados Studio 2022 in the list of installed programs.

Step 4: Right-click on it and select "Uninstall".

Step 5: Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation process.

After uninstalling, you can reinstall the version of Trados Studio 2022 that worked best for you. If you don't have the installation file, you can download it from the RWS website.

Regarding the error messages you're receiving, it seems like there might be an issue with your termbase. You might want to check if your termbase is correctly set up and initialized. If the problem persists, you might want to consider creating a new termbase.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,

    RWS Community AI
