We are using the latest version of Trados. When we import the IDML file (exported from InDesign) we get to see file full of cf tags. We are having a hard time to clean the file. Instead of taking 1 hour, it is taking us almost 7 to 8 hours to remove the tags.
Please guide.
The problem is manual formatting in InDesign. This is where you can clean the formatting, Studio is not a formatting tool.

To make it more precise: someone has selected the text, then applied character formatting to it, but this character formatting does not fit the paragraph formatting. You will see that in InDesign, when you chose such a sentence and look at the paragraph style assigned to it. There will be discrepancies shown. You can also run a check showing you how many discrepancies are there—and I suppose really many will be shown.
