Hi,

I am translating an XML file from English to German and I need to insert spaces before measurements and some symbols (e.g. %).The file is used to generate an Online Help and a printed User Manual.

In the XSD file, I found this: XML version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" xmlns="">www.authorit.com/.../authorit"

Can anybody tell me how to insert non-breaking spaces for this in Trados Studio? (non-breaking spaces that will be non-breaking in the Online Help and in the User Manual?

I tried to define a QuickInsert that inserts %#160; but that actually inserts these characters into the text, which then is converted to   in the target XML file.
