What's your usecase for this? If it's to identify words for including in a termbase you may get some value from a couple of plugins?

I'd be interested to know your actual usecase though... I think it's simple to achieve a frequency count programmatically but maybe it would be appropriate to do something smarter if we know what you need and why?

Thanks, yes, that's more like it. Not quite as nice as DWDS, but in general the kind of information I was looking for. If you want to get an impression on the frequency on a word in English, you'd have to search all your candidates and then compare.
