I searched around and found that this was a reported problem which we addressed in CRQ-25970. Fix for this was delivered in Trados Studio 2022

Thanks, Lydia, but for the time being we have to continue using Trados 2021, due to technical dependencies. Is there a patch, update or package that can fix the problem?

But. I just said that we absolutely cannot use any other version but Trados 2021. If the problem is simply a date format, I can't help but think that there must be an easiest solution, a recent SR, whatever, for Trados 2021. Is there not? Not even a patch?

The latest build for 2021 is 16.2.12.9338 and this is already several versions more advanced than the one you are using.  I don't know if there is a fix in there for your problem but it would be worth updating to that at least.  If the problem is still there I think it's highly unlikely you'll see another update for 2021.  So 2022 or later will be your only options.

Hello again. With latest updated version for 2021 I see same problem. And I also see this happening in Trados Studio 2022!

So, for this specific TU, the tmx shows exactly the same date information:

I guess that all TUs created with Trados 2021, in which changedate incorrectly shows 20240901 (or any other date with the day and month reversed), are not recoverable in any way, right? So, imagine I want to delete older TUs but I need to be sure that they have not been recently modified, i.e. corrected - in this case I want to keep them of course. Impossible, am I afraid?

This is highly inconvenient for TM maintenance and cleaning...
