Structure of the PowerPoint document appears as a segment to translate

Working on a Translation project of a PowerPoint file in Trados Studio 2021. The first lines of the Editor contains a line of text related to the structure of the document (a style information: "Modern Swiss") and I do not want to see that as something to be translated by the Editor.

How can I correct this? Where is the parameter of the File Type where I can choose what I want to appear in my Editor?

I suspect it is File Type - PowerPoint - Common  etc.

But what is the parameter? Is there any text box I should untick?

Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.12.9338

Merci, thank you!

Looking at your screenshot I think the S stands for "Section Name".  I don't think you can exclude this with the filetype settings.  But you could use the Advanced Display filter:

Powerpoint file opened in the editor showing three segments with the section name extracted for translation. They have the 'S' for section name in the document structure column

Select the S that is "A document slide" as opposed to "A section name" and you should find the section names are filtered out:

The same screenshot but now showing the SAdvanced Display Filter and these section names are filtered out.

You could even "Reverse it at this point and then lock them (select and press Ctrl+L):

The filter is no reversed so we only see the segments with the section names, and they have all been locked.

Now when you clear the filter you can still see the section names as this may be useful, and they will be protected from translation and can also be omitted from your analysis
