ADF 2.0: Filter settings preserve Regex checkbox setting, but not "Search in tag content" checkbox setting

I work a lot with ADF – I have to switch between lots of filters for lots of files during postprocessing/correcting of books –, and I came across this kind of weird behavior:

I open a file in the editor.

I import a filter which was saved with the "Regular expression" checkbox checked.

Checkbox is checked.

I close the file.

I open another (or same) file.

Checkbox "Regular expression" is unchecked.

I import again the first filter with the "Regular expression" checkbox checked.

Checkbox is checked again.

Now the same with "Search in tag content":

I open a file in the editor.

I import a filter which was saved with the "Search in tag content" checkbox checked.

Checkbox is not checked.

I close the file.

I open another (or same) file.

Checkbox "Search in tag content" is unchecked.

I import again the first filter which was saved with the "Search in tag content" checkbox checked.

Checkbox is stil unchecked.

So it looks like the state of the "Search in tag content" setting is not preserved in the settings file while the RegEx setting is.

This is quite inconsistent, and I wonder why some settings are saved and others are not? Same things (here checkboxes) should be treated the same. How would one know the difference?

It is also hugely annoying because it's quite easy to forget to check that box again. (And it's quite contra intuitive.)

*

BTW; I wonder why the settings files have a different ending .sdltadfsettings when I use German as display language, but Trados filters for .sdladfsettings (without the 't') when I'm using English as display language? Aren't the settings compatible across display languages? And if so, why?

Correction regarding problematic workflow description.
