It’s in the right hand side, so you may need to move the horizontal bar. Maybe a Reset window will help? It’s in the View ribbon > Reset Window Layout button.

Do you confirm the segments? The QA kicks in when each segment is confirmed manually… I mean, if you leave the segment in Draft status, QAs won’t be checked as they are being confirmed.

Alternatively you can test a small file/project, for example, the Sample Project, included during the Trados Studio installation.

1a) As you can see below, it's not a scrolling issue. The last column's name is "exception error". But this refers to the error list generated when I run the batch QA task, probably called "Verify document" in English. (BTW: Every time I run this batch task, the number of errors and warnings changes...)

1b) The report displayed in the Editor is empty, although the other report shows 21 errors and 76 warnings. But this report has a Segment column :-)

2) I see, probably it doesn't work because I'm not translating any more, the translation is complete and I only wanted to export it.

3a) I have no doubts that it works with the sample file but will try.

3b) Working with separate xml files as source texts creates a huge new effort because obviously the numbering of segments inside the files starts anew for each individual file and there for the tag IDs change again...

BTW: The file size is 36,766 KB

I know what it’s going on. You created your first screenshot with the Verify task under Bach Tasks. In this mode, there is no Segment column and clicking on the errors won’t get you to the segment in Editor. In order for these 2 things to work as per my screenshots, you’d need to press F8 key (or press the Verify button) while you are in the Editor.

On the other hand, if you just wanted to export the QA report, your way is OK.

So for me everything is fine.

I agree there were two separate reports, one in the Batch Task, another in the Editor. But I still have the export error, can't identify the segments containing the errors because the report in the Editor is empty and, unfortunately, don't know what to do :-(

2 ways:

1. you save the report from the Report view and open it in Excel (Segment column is there)
2. or you press F8 in the Editor with the file/s opened (the report won’t be empty) and you click on each error to fix it in the Editor.

If you only wanted the report, the first way is the way to go. If you need to fix the reported errors, the second way is is faster.

No, F8 shortcut (or the Verify button in the Review ribbon) runs the QA for any file, small, medium and big ones. You can try with a small file...
