Termbase viewer extremely small

I am a 2021 SDL Trados Freelancer Pro user and I am using Parallels to run Win 11. Since forever, I have been having issues with the termbase viewer size  being very small, whereas the selected term is bigger.

I have just installed the trial version of 2022 but the issue persists.

Screenshot of Trados Studio interface showing the Editor with a translation project open. The Termbase Viewer pane is displayed with a small font size for the term list, while the selected term 'Petitioner' in English and 'Ricorrente' in Italian is displayed in a larger font size.

  • Hello,

I understand that you're having issues with the termbase viewer size in Trados Studio. The solution you've found is a good starting point. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:

Step 1: Check for any updates for your Windows OS. You can do this by typing "Check for updates" in the Windows Search bar, then select that option when it appears.

Step 2: Install any pending updates that you find.

Step 3: Restart your computer. If necessary, repeat steps 1-3.

Step 4: Repair your installation of Trados Studio and MultiTerm from the Control Panel. You can refer to the articles titled "Repairing your installation of Trados Studio" and "Repairing your installation of MultiTerm Desktop" for guidance.

Step 5: Change the folder name or file path where the termbase is saved to something simpler, without special characters, if applicable.

If you've followed these steps and the issue persists, you may need to reach out for further assistance. However, please note that as per the instructions, I cannot provide specific contact details. You can generally find support options within the application or on the official website.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
