Please follow the steps on this article to solve the error message:

Then please make sure your studio is updated --> check the orange bell you have in the upper right corner of trados.

Regarding the work with pdf in trados, please make sure you have the original pdf, not a scanned copy or a converted one as you will not be able to work with those documents.

Please make sure you have the app installed for the work with pdf:

appstore.rws.com/.../49

thank you for your anwer. I have an orange bell telling that not Studio but Language weaver isn't updated (as I try to update it, another message appear (whose menaing is not clear neither in my native language). I send you the image at the end of this message). 

I tried the solution you gave me but I don't manage to cancel file and folders: I am not a computer expert and I don't know what I would cancel , then authorization messages appear stopping the cancellation and I don't know what to do... 

Finally, as I told in my message, the problem now is not with a pdf but with a Word file (I used ABBY Fine reader and managed to convert pdf into word).

Regarding the Language Weaver plug in, I will suggest uninstalling it from the PC (control panel) and then download it again from the app store and see if it will work properly:
