adding, opening or cancelling a file takes too long I had to shut down the computer.

When I tried to add a file to translate, the software showed a error message that it can't add the file because it couldn't find the cloud. 

I broke down the file into smaller files and tried again, the result is the same. 

I tried to make a new project with the files but the last step took hours and I had to shut down the computer. 

Now the software seems to take ages to open and cancel any files. 

I am trying to reset the license and try the above again. 

Can anyone tell me what went wrong or what I can do to resolve this?
