I am mainly asking if anyone is actually running on Microsoft Surface PRO 9 on ARM with an emulator?

I have received a Surface Laptop Pro 11 ARM64 based upon Qualcomm Elite and I have not seen so far any major issues, working with the installed Studio and Multiterm 2022 SR2, but one plugin does not load: Language Weaver, which is annoying.

Without a precise benchmarking, which I will do later, the speed is quite good compared to my other laptop which is 2 Intel generations older.

It will be nice to see a native ARM Studio in the near term.

Actually. that was the no longer maintained version and Language Weaver and the new one  Language Weaver Provider works fine on ARM64 PC

I have to retract saying that statement.

I just removed Language Weaver Provider from my Studio as I got several times a crash after receiving: "The calling thread must be STA, because many UI components require this"

Without investigating further, desactivating Language Weaver Provider seems to clear the issue

It might be more complicated that than, as I reinstalled Language Weaver Provider and the STA  issue did not come back. I will keep on eye on this.

The question is: when Trados Studio will have a native ARM64 release?

Hi Paul, have you had a chance to evaluate Studio's performance in more detail? I'm also intrigued to get the new Surface but still wondering how different translation software will run through the emulation.
