I have a problema with SDL STUDIO 2022 and IDML FIles - The file says, once it is in SDL Trados: " It is impossibile to identify the type of file. What can I do?
Depending on the way you try to translate the file (single file or project) go to File -> Setup -> Project templates and chose the default one (the name of it is bolded) for the single file approach or the proper one for project approach and there open the "File types" category. Scroll down to Adobe InDesign CS4-CC IDML. Click on it and in the Common section select "Process unsupported file versions". This should help. If not, the IDML is probably damaged, so export it again directly from InDesign or ask your customer for a new one.
