Whenever I open the Find and Replace box, "Target" is selected by default. Since I often search for text in the source, I hope to set "Source" as the default setting. Is there an option for that?
No. To make it easier, place the cursor on the source side before calling "Search". Or use the advanced display filter.

You can create an idea (Trados Studio Ideas) for the search box to simply keep (remember) the last used setting.
