Copy-pasting text embedded in inline tags in the target impossible

My current (huge) project (Oxygen/DITA) includes many inline tags, one average one tag per segment I would say. Translating all these segments is a challenge because it seems that I have to insert all inline tags manually and exactly as they are in the source segment: I have tried to copy-paste identical text embedded in identical inline tags from one target segment to another but it hasn't worked. Have I overlooked something? Any advice extremely welcome :-)

Have you used the QuickInsert method? Just press CTRL+comma and the tags will be suggested for insertion. You can also take the mouse, press CTRL and klick on the source text between the tag pair you want to insert. Or select the corresponding text in target and then press CTRL+ALT+ARROW RIGHT (LEFT). Studio will highlight the tag pari to be inserted, when you release the keys.
