Can't re-import a reviewed Word file with the Retrofit feature in batch tasks

Dear Studio 2015 expert(s):

I tried to update a Studio file with a reviewed Word file using the Retrofit function in batch tasks but the process failed with the following message:

Index must be within the bounds of the List.  Parameter name: index

Does anyone know how to solve the problem?  I tried the Word file with track changes and one with changes accepted and received the same message both times.

Thank you.

  • Hi Chun-yi,

    I'd need to see the files to suggest a fix. It may be that too many changes have been made to the file, or that track changes was used (not needed). the retofot works within reason but if the reviewer goes crazy adding new paragraphs and removing lines all over the place then it will probably fail. In this case you're better off translating the reviewed file into a reversed TM to update the work. This process is all about TM update as you already have the updated file for the client.
