Error when opening file

Hello! When trying opening my sdlxliff file, I get an message of unexpected error when trying to detect the type of file...Hexadecimal value 0x00 is an invalid character...Line1 Position1...

Could you please help me recover it? THANKS!

  • Open the SDLXLIFF in Notepad++ and check, what is at the beginning of the file. This message means, that there is a character, which is not supported.
    Usually the first character in a SDLXLIFF file is <. You should see this there <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>. If there is anything else and the text pasted here is not visible, your file is damaged. In that case retranslate the source file again with the TM used until now.
