In the edtor, under View->Preview you should be able to open a preview view. In that you have the option of the simple HTML preview or the full Word preview. I guess you have to have Word installed in order to get the Word preview. It works for me in Studio 2024.

Thanks Daniel! That 'View --> Preview' option says the preview's out of date, and asks me to refresh it - but the refresh button is greyed out.

I do have Word installed, and I've been able to preview all my Word files in previous versions of Studio (2021 was the last one I had installed on this machine). It's like a setting has changed, but I don't know what it is!

Could you send a screenshot that shows this as well as the full filename?

I can't really send the file name without potentially identifying the end customer. What aspect of the file name do you need to know about? Is there any other way of giving you the relevant information?

We have the same problem, in Studio 2022 the preview was working just fine.

We have Trados Studio 2024 - 18.0.0.1013 and Office Professional Plus 2019.

The preview opens but it says "There is no preview available"; all the buttons are greyed out:
