This is not a general issue. At least I cannot reproduce it. Perhaps you can provide some details on the steps you take?
Also does this happen with every project or just one?

I have the same problem. I have just upgraded to Studio 2024 and all the stats in the bottom RH corner are showing 0% (which doesn't change), with the not translated figure being a negative value (e.g. -367).
I also have this issue with every single file I translate (I translate a lot...). Ever since I upgraded to Studio 2024, this feature never works unless I restart Studio. Pretty annoying. I can see the progress in the status bar at the bottom, but the File view confirmation statistics fail to update.
I confirm this issue, all projects are affected. Solution is to close files and run Word Count batch task, but this is annoying.
