I'm a Studio 2024 user.
I've encountered the following problem, which may occur only when the user interface language is set to Japanese:
In Studio 2024, nothing happens when I click the text "参照" (Browse) in the [翻訳対象ファイルをドラッグするか、コンピュータの[参照]を実行します] (Drag files for translation or browse your computer) area on the [Welcome] screen.
I hope this issue will be resolved soon.
Hi Shosaku Takatani this has been reported in 2022 and its on developments backlog, reference being LG-42898
While I do know initiating projects from this view is widely used, I am a big fan of the "New Project" method. Mostly because of the automatic running of batch tasks.
If you happen to be using a professional version of Trados Studio and familiar with Powershell and looking for a simpler way of initiating projects, perhaps our latest Trados PowerShell Toolkit this will be of interest
