Hello all,
I have just upgraded from Trados 2021 to 2024 and the first thing I find is this error.
I am working with four termbases and the term recognition window shows the hits properly. However, when I want to see the details of a term, I get this error "
And the termbase viewer window opens and tells me there are no termbases open.
I am starting to regret upgrading.
Any help?

Hi Paul, I received a message from RWS Support right away after you asked them to open the case. Now I think I have worked out what might be going on here. I think it's a "license" problem. You see, when I upgraded from 2021 to 2024 I didn't remember to deactivate Trados 2021 first. It was only after that I remembered. I tried to deactivate it then, but I received a message telling me that the license was now "restricted" and Trados 2021 shut down. I still didn't think much of this, because I installed Trados 2024, which is a different product, a different license. But I think that might be the problem. Because now I installed Trados 2024 in a different computer, an old one where I used to have my 2nd license of 2021 Freelance Plus, and Trados 2024 works perfectly in that computer. I wonder if there is something RWS Support can do about this. Should I reply to their message and tell them this?
