To get my update, I need to add a folder, no longer a specific document (Add option is greyed out?
Try selecting the Project File... since you could have multiple files in there Studio is expecting you to tell it which one to assign to when you select a specific file, so if you don't select it first it has nothing to match it to.
When you only have one it seems like a logical thing to select it automatically... not sure how this worked before 2024, but that is the reason it's greyed.

I see the reasonng.
Thats a new logic and I understand it.
From Studio 2009 to 2002, the single file option was always available, and this disturbed my brain used to see it all the time.

That would be a completely separate problem. I suggest you create a new thread for it and provide an explanation of the steps you went through and also what version of Trados Studio you're using.
