I am trying to update old tms from 2019 to 2024 and when I click some of them (not all) in the project settings under Translation memories ... the update button turns grey and I cannot update, although the the orange marker showes that update is needed. How do I then update my tms?
Studio is a little funny in how it works here. Try unchecking the TM and just highlight it. If you check it then only certain operations are going to be activated, like "Remove". If you just highlight it without checking you should be able to do what you need.

Thanks - I tried it, and it looks a short while as if it is upgrading but clearly it is not doing anything and returns to the little orange mark, showing that it needs upgrade ...?
If this is a large TM and if it's in OneDrive without using the "Always keep on this device" option then it may be having synch issues due to OneDrive? Or maybe it's on some other shared drive that might be causing this problem?

Hmm - they are about the same size all of them. But yes on Onedrive. Still they are all on Onedrive and 5 out of 7 will upgrade ...
Did you try the "Always keep on this device" option for the folder they are in? Or alternatively move them out of OneDrive and try to upgrade again?

Okay - I found out - and same result ... It looks as if it upgrades for a few moments, and then back to the orange triangle mark for opgrading needed ...
