Translating .properties files in Studio 2014

Question

Hello, 
 
 I'm trying to find out how .properties files are translated in Studio 2014, but I cannot find anything. Could you please help me?

As I already emailed you I just wanted to close this thread off. The problem here is that the file is not really a *.PROPERTIES Java Resources file, it is a normal XML file and can easily be handled as an XML file. The solution being to either rename the files with an xml extension and create a custom XML filetype for anything special that is required or add *.properties to the custom filetype so it picks these files up and uses the XML filetype for your project automatically.

Studio has a Java Resources filetype as part of the product and this handles *.properties files. Are you asking a general question or are you having a problem trying to handle files with this extension?
