What kind of document? I mean, what file extension?
Does Trados Studio give you any error message? That would be good to know.
Which steps do you try to import that document?

Why do you think so? Did you try changing the file name and then it worked fine?
The file is in Word as all the other files that i open when i translate from english to greek, that's why i think it might be a character recognition problem. I can vie the project but the file, although marked in bold, can not open in editor view.

Hi Maria - a couple of questions I can't see that have been asked:
1. Does your computer have a Greek keyboard/font loaded?
2. Did you create a Greek to English TM?
Either of those points might cause an issue

Hi Maria - I assumed so, but thought it worth checking!
I just tried this myself - I have Studio 2024, version 18.0.0.1013, and did not have an issue. I did discover that Language Weaver (Cloud Based Resources) does not support Greek (Greece) to English (UK), which was a surprise, but I just grabbed some random Greek text from a web page, created a Word document, and opened it in Studio with no difficulty - and then used AI Assistant - so Chat GPT - to give me MT input, which all worked correctly.
On that basis, it sounds as though it may be an issue with the source file - I know you said it was Word, but perhaps there are some settings in the structure of the document that are causing issues. I assume that you've opened the source file in Word - it may be worth copying some of the content to a new Word file, and trying to open that, to see if you can narrow down where the issue is coming from.
