Error when trying to Add New Term to termbase from Studio Editor

Hello One and All,

When editing a project, I cannot use the Add New Term function to add new terms to my termbase using the mouse right-click menu.

The following 'Message from webpage' error is displayed: "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: input" This function was working perfectly 24+ hrs ago within the same project setup (just after upgrading from Starter edition to Studio Freelance), which is currently ongoing. Has anyone encountered/resolved the same issue?

Hoping to understand/fix this issue.

Grateful for any help/expert know-how out there...

Regards,

Antony

  • It's OK...

Problem fixed! After installing AV software it raised flags with several Studio (common) .dll files identifying them as potential Trojan threats. Removed AV software after repeated MultiTerm Edit/Add New Term failures and also getting the "Error message when working with comments in Studio: "Attempted to read or write protected memory" failure error when attempting to open files for translation. Uninstalled -> reinstalled MultiTerm. Problem resolved.

Everything is working AOK, thankfully. Should try and reinstall AV software and specify some exclusion paths so that it will not interfere with Studio and related tools. However, for the moment, I'm just happy to have everything working as it should. (Replying to own post since I can't figure out how to delete it!)
