How to delete auto save on One Drive

Dear all,

Due to a system change in our company I transferred my files to One Drive. As already discussed in your forum, this was no good idea.

I have now created a new project from scratch on c:, and all my TMs, Terminology, are saved there, too. However there still seems to be a connection to one drive, because when I try to save I get the message: Access to the path C\Users\xy\Studio 2022\AutoSave\xy is denied.

I read a discussion from three month ago, see below,  where it was suggested to click:" File", "Options" and then "Files", "Default Files Locations". However, I cannot find the option "Files". Can you please help?

Your assistance is very much appreciated.

Regards,

Ellen

  • I've been having the same annoying problem. Last time I moved the folder and it worked.

I was also unable to find the COPY PATH on the ribbon, I use 2021 and just updated.

I'm now doing a large project and can't afford to bleep around with Trados crashing. I decided to pause sync on onedrive. I can always copy the files to Google Drive.

Once again, I'll just ask if someone can post or share the steps on moving the path or moving AUTOSAVE so I can get this sorted out. I think OneDrive causes the problems....it also screws with OFFICE/COPILOT files, with messages about security opening files etc. MS needs to work on this!
