No termbase dropdown or red underlines in Trados Studio

I'm using Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.10.9305.

I've used it with termbases for years, but now I have a serious problem with the integration of termbases into Studio for use while I'm translating. I'm able to add my termbase to my project, and it appears in the termbase viewer when I'm in the Studio editor. The problem is that I now have no red underlines in my segments to show which terms are in my termbase, and when I click "Show translations" to see the dropdown, nothing happens. The terms are still in the viewer, so I can check that, but it's really slow, so this problem slows down my translation speed. In MultiTerm, the termbase looks fine.

Any suggestions? I've tried closing and reopening Trados (and MultiTerm), as well as restarting my computer.

This has happened on occasion in the past, but it never lasted very long. Now I'm just stuck without my termbase integrated into my segments in the editor.

    Hello,

I understand that you're having trouble with the termbase integration in Trados Studio. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Step 1: Ensure that the termbase is properly linked to your project. You can do this by going to Project Settings > Language Pairs > All Language Pairs > Termbases. Make sure your termbase is listed there.

Step 2: Check if the "Automatically search termbases" option is enabled. You can find this in the Termbase Viewer window, under the "Settings" tab.

Step 3: Try resetting the window layout. You can do this by going to View > Reset Window Layout in Trados Studio.

Step 4: If the problem persists, you might want to consider repairing your Trados Studio installation. You can do this via the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Trados Studio 2021 > Change > Repair.
