We want to translate the content of a XML-File that was exported from Wordpress and has lots of CData content. How do I manage that (please see enclosed screen)?

You need to create a custom xml filetype that uses the embedded content processor for html. That would probably be the easiest way. It's been discussed many times in these forums so you should find plenty of examples of how to do this, but you can also review this article as it also explains how to do it:
