In the documentation, it says: "you can create a single-file project by dragging and dropping your file in the projects list section, and then creating the project in the window that appears".
I can't do this. No matter where I try to place the dragged file (docx), I only see the stop sign.
This is a minor matter, but I would like to know if I'm doing something wrong or if the documentation is wrong.

What you show is exactly how I exptected this feature to work (and pretty simple, also). On my screen, I can only see the 
icon all over the place. (I've tried to find a suitable program for recording mouse movements, but I've only managed to make recording which cannot be exported here. What program do you use?)

Actually, it is not. Why do I always see this image when trying to upload the mp4 file?
On the problem... can you see what happens when you drag and drop from your C drive insatead of D? I can't see why that would be an issue but perhaps worth testing?
Can you also confirm what build of 2024 you are using? You should be on CU1.

The latest CU did the trick. Although I don't see why this should not have worked before that.

Perhaps it was a bug fixed in CU1. Perhaps it was one of those unrecognised and unreproducible things!
Doesn’t really matter… you should be on the latest version anyway!
