Can't create new projects anymore - how can I resolve this?

Screenshot of a 'Create a New Project' window with an error message. The error states 'Cannot apply default project template. Your version of Trados Studio enables you to create new projects in up to three target languages. Go to your Project Template Settings and remove extra target languages from the default project template.' The source language is set to English (United Kingdom) and the target language is German (Germany).

I do not have too many target languages in the project template. It is only German. And I removed the only language pair there was in the template. I am still getting the error. 

I need a fix as soon as possible. Can't work on my projects with a tight deadline otherwise Disappointed

    Close Trados Studio. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio18\ProjectTemplates and copy the Default.sdltpl to ...Documents\Studio 2022(2024)\Project Templates. This will overwrite your damaged project template and should solve the problem. Obviously you will need to adapt the settings there, but should be able to use it without any problems.
