Issue with SDL Trados Studio 2024 after installation

I am experiencing an issue with SDL Trados Studio 2024 after installing the software and activating the trial license. Initially, the installation seemed successful, and the software opened correctly. However, it suddenly shut down, and since then, I have been unable to reopen it.

Here are the details of the issue:

  • Error Message: "Impossible de démarrer le service 'Sdl.Desktop.Platform.CommandBars.IActionService'."
  • Environment:
    • Operating System: Windows10, Version 22H2
    • SDL Trados Version: SDL Trados Studio 2024

Steps Taken:

  1. My IT team uninstalled and reinstalled the software multiple times, but the issue persists.
  2. They attempted to launch SDL Trados using an administrator account, which worked. However, the software remains inaccessible from my standard user profile.
  3. We have tried cleaning residual files from AppData and Program Files, running the program with elevated permissions, and ensuring all Windows updates are installed.

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. I would appreciate your guidance on resolving this issue.
