Find and replace all doesn't work if the replace string is empty. I want to replace all "£" characters at the end of all filtered segment with nothing. Why doesn't this work?

Did you enter this character from the keyboard or used copy & paste from the text? If you entered it with keyboard, please try to use copy & paste, as the encoding may differ.

The problem is not in the Find string (character): if I replace the pound character with "dummy", the Replace All button works. With an empty replacement string, only the Replace button works. This seems to be a bug.

I’ve checked both in Trados Studio 2022 & 2024 and the Replace & Replace All buttons work fine: the £ character disappears from Editor as expected.

Please use "Reset window layout" from the View menu in Editor. If this does not help, reset your user profile. When this is unsuccessful, reset Studio as described here: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge

Yes. The Replace with field was empty. That’s why the £ was deleted in the Editor.
