Request for Access to All Icon Image Files as jpeg

Hello,

I would like to use all the icons from your software as PNG or JPEG files for teaching purposes. While I was able to locate a few icons in the installation folder (such as "Open TM" and "Open Project"), I couldn’t find all of them.

Could you please guide me on how to access the complete set of icon image files? I plan to create a cheatsheet document for my students and would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Thank you in advance for your help!

"Question improvement suggestion": Please specify the version of Trados Studio you are using, as the location and availability of icon files may vary between versions.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

While we appreciate your interest in using Trados Studio's icons for teaching purposes, it's important to note that these icons are part of the software's proprietary assets. As such, they are not typically made available for extraction or use outside of the software itself.

However, for educational purposes, you might consider taking screenshots of the software interface where these icons are displayed. This way, you can still visually represent the icons in your teaching materials without needing to extract the actual image files.

Here's how you can do it:

Step 1: Open Trados Studio and navigate to the screen that displays the icon you want to capture.

Step 2: Use the screenshot function on your computer to capture the image. On Windows, you can use the Snipping Tool or press the "PrtScn" button on your keyboard. On Mac, you can press "Command + Shift + 4" to take a screenshot.

Step 3: Paste the screenshot into an image editing software (like Paint or Photoshop) and crop it to only show the icon.

Step 4: Save the cropped image as a PNG or JPEG file.

Please remember to respect the intellectual property rights associated with these icons and only use them for educational purposes as intended.
